Tourists Turn Football Field Into Campground with Parked RVs

Travellers have set up an illegal encampment at Litchard playing fields in Bridgend, leaving locals in a bit of a tiz. Spotted on Monday, 13 caravans and about 20 cars rolled onto the football pitches, causing quite the stir among the community. Litchard FC, the local football club, expressed their frustration as children and young players can’t access their pitches for regular football activities.

Councillor Martin Williams mentioned the travellers might have snuck in through a broken bollard, which had been reported to the council weeks prior. Not wasting any time, the council is already on the legal case to move the encampment and ensure the pitches are back to normal soon. They’ve teamed up with South Wales Police to address the situation swiftly and appropriately.
