🎗️ Heartbreaking Story of Courage: From Boxing Dreams to an Unseen Battle 🎗️

James Lewis was a boy with big dreams. Stepping into the boxing ring at five, his ultimate goal was to go pro. But life had a shocking twist in store. One morning, young James woke unable to feel his legs, leaving his dreams crushed as he fell to the floor like jelly.
Medical exams uncovered an 18cm benign tumour tightly entwined with his spinal cord. The boxing gloves were reluctantly hung up as James started a tougher fight—regaining control over his own body.

Though the tumour can’t be surgically removed, and despite multiple surgeries and rounds of chemotherapy, this brave 13-year-old hasn’t given up. He’s now focusing on intensive rehabilitation, hoping to start chemo again soon.
James’ journey is nothing short of inspiring. Even when he lost his balance and had to abandon boxing, he found solace in fishing, a hobby perfectly suited for him. It’s a beautiful example of finding joy amid adversity.
The community’s response has been incredible. Thanks to a GoFundMe campaign set up by a compassionate member of the fishing community, over £5,000 has been raised to buy James an electric wheelchair, exceeding their £4,500 target.

James’ dad reflects on the journey: “It’s been an absolute nightmare, but the support is overwhelming. Each donation brings us one step closer to a better life for James.”
💪 Let’s support James in his battle. Share his story or contribute to his GoFundMe. Together, we can make a difference! #TeamJames #NeverGiveUp
