Exciting news for Cardiff! 🎉 PwC has made a significant move, relocating its Welsh headquarters to the impressive One Central Square in the heart of the city. With the team doubling in size to 400, this new office is all set to accommodate future growth. 🚀
Why One Central Square? It’s all about location, location, location! With Cardiff Central Station and the new bus station just a stone’s throw away, it’s the perfect spot for easy commuting and connecting with clients. Public transport accessibility was a key factor in this fantastic decision. 🚌🚆
The office spans over 33,500 sq ft, taking up two floors and designed to reflect PwC’s ambitions to thrive in Wales. The move signifies PwC’s commitment to the region, where it has been a staple for over 90 years. This strategic relocation isn’t just about a fresh start; it showcases the firm’s dedication to fostering growth in the Welsh market. 🌱
Stuart Couch, the head of PwC in Wales, is enthusiastic about what this move means for Wales’ future. From advanced manufacturing to the burgeoning fintech and insurance sectors, Wales is poised for a bright economic journey. PwC is here to play its part in unlocking that potential and driving innovation. 💡
The office will house all of PwC’s service lines, including consulting, tax, audit, and deals, plus their specialist ethical hacking team, bolstering Cardiff’s reputation as a hub for business and innovation. 🏢🔍
This move not only fills the once-vacant space left by Motonovo but also contributes to Cardiff’s city centre buzz with new tenants like NatWest and several law firms joining the building. Matthew Phillips from Knight Frank notes that One Central Square’s success highlights the rising demand for top-notch city centre spaces. 🏙️
Cardiff is on the rise, and PwC’s move to One Central Square is yet another step in the city’s exciting development path. Here’s to a bright future! 🌟
