🌞 Stay Cool, Schools Closed! 🌞
This week’s scorching temperatures are bringing unprecedented changes! Dozens of schools across England and Wales are shutting down due to blistering heat predicted to reach a sizzling 40°C! 🥵
The Met Office has issued a rare red warning, signalling extreme heat with potential danger to health and safety. While schools are taking action to protect students, many are turning to online learning – a 2026 twist on the classic snow day! 🌤️
Transport is also affected, with advice to avoid travel unless absolutely necessary. Trains and buses might see delays, and roads could even scorch and become sticky, so plan ahead! 🚉🚗
Prepare for a hot week: stay hydrated, keep cool, and look out for those vulnerable to heat. We’re hoping for a break in the weather, but for now, it’s all about staying safe and sunny side up. ☀️
