🚨Man Sentenced for Grotesque Online Behaviour🚔

In a shocking case at Swansea Crown Court, 42-year-old David Lewis has been sentenced to 60 months in prison after being found guilty of a series of disturbing crimes. Lewis, from Pembrokeshire, was caught with hundreds of indecent images of children on his phone and was chatting online with someone he thought was a 12-year-old girl. Spoiler: it was an undercover officer! 🙅♀️

The court heard that Lewis had been released on bail after his first arrest, with strict conditions against contacting minors. Yet, he boldly continued his repulsive activities, including engaging in obscene acts on a video call.😡 Judge Paul Thomas KC branded Lewis a “committed paedophile,” emphasising the severe impact of his crimes on real children around the world. The market for such heinous content directly feeds the abuse, and Lewis has been made an example as to why this must be stopped.👨⚖️

Despite having no previous convictions, Lewis was found with the most extreme categories of child sexual abuse imagery. He tried to deceive the decoy police profile by claiming to be a youthful 20-year-old. The judge didn’t buy it, though, and handed him a hefty sentence. Lewis will serve part of his time behind bars and the remainder under supervision in the community. He’s also been registered as a sex offender for life and hit with a 10-year sexual harm prevention order.
