🍹 Big News from Turtle Bay! 🌴

Beloved Caribbean-inspired chain, Turtle Bay, has announced plans to close three of its UK venues as part of a strategic rescue operation aiming to secure its future. The popular eatery, known for tropical cocktails and a chilled vibe, is rolling out a Company Voluntary Arrangement (CVA) to help it navigate current economic challenges while keeping the rest of its restaurants serving up sunshine on a plate!

Affected locations include Solihull, Walthamstow, and Middlesbrough. While these spots will be closing their doors, Turtle Bay wants to assure loyal fans that all other locations will remain open during the restructuring process, and it’s business as usual for your next island getaway experience.
A whopping 30% of their remaining sites will see lease renegotiations. But don’t worry, this is all part of a master plan to make sure Turtle Bay remains a vibrant and sustainable choice for dining out.
Since being taken back by its founder Ajith Jayawickrema, Turtle Bay’s been shaking things up with fresher food and cocktails, boosted service standards, and more focus on customer joy. But, like the entire UK hospitality scene, they’ve been feeling the pressure from rising costs and changing consumer habits.
The CVA will allow the brand to tackle legacy property headaches while ensuring most jobs are safeguarded and future investments can continue. 🤞
