🎾 Drama unfolds at Wimbledon! During a thrilling match between Jelena Ostapenko and Britain’s Harriet Dart, BBC legend Martina Navratilova couldn’t hold back her astonishment. The Latvian star, well ahead in the opening set, suddenly paused the game just as Dart was ready to serve. Ostapenko held up her racket, prompting Navratilova to question, “Why is Ostapenko holding up her racket? Seriously?”
Turned out, a rogue mobile phone was to blame for the interruption! Dart capitalised, winning the next point with an ace, but it wasn’t enough to take the set. Despite a valiant effort from Dart, Ostapenko secured victory, showing why she was a semi-finalist back in 2018.
Wimbledon never fails to deliver on drama, both on and off the court! 🏆✨
