Heads up! Big changes are here for DWP health assessments! 🌟 Starting this week, every phone and face-to-face assessment will be audio recorded. Why? To keep a clear record of your evaluation, helping ensure fairness for everyone involved.

Rest easy, though. These recordings are just for record-keeping and won’t impact the decision on your benefits like Universal Credit, ESA, or PIP. 🎧 Want to know if you’re being recorded? If you’re having a phone or in-person assessment, the recording is automatic. Video assessments aren’t being recorded yet, but the DWP is working on making audio recordings possible for those too.
Not keen on being recorded? No problem! You can opt out by contacting HAAS using the number in your appointment letter. Or, if you prefer, just let your healthcare professional know during the assessment itself.

Want a copy of your recording? You can request it during the assessment or afterward. Once ready, you’ll receive a text with a secure link to download it—super handy if you want to keep a personal record!
But remember, recordings are kept for up to 24 months, so don’t wait too long to get your copy. 📲 Need more info or help? Reach out as per the instructions in your appointment letter.
This new system aims to improve transparency and protect both you and the DWP. What do you think about these changes? Let us know below! ⬇️ #DWPChanges #HealthAssessments #BenefitsUpdate
