🚨 Exciting times at Cardiff City! 🚨 We’ve just announced our first summer transfer move, and it’s all about nurturing young talent. 🙌
Our promising young goalkeeper, Luke Armstrong, is heading to Scotland! He’ll be joining the ranks at Raith Rovers on a season-long loan. At just 20, Luke has already shown immense potential since joining us from Wolves back in 2022. 🧤⚽ This move up north could be just the ticket to get some valuable first-team experience.
Luke isn’t new to making waves – he impressed during a loan spell with Penybont last season, playing in the Cymru Premier and even stepping up for the UEFA Conference League qualifiers! 🌟
Raith Rovers are thrilled to have him on board, saying he’ll bring some healthy competition for their spot between the sticks. Let’s cheer Luke on as he takes this exciting leap in his career! 💪
But that’s not all from Cardiff City! Today officially marked the day that 13 players became free agents, ready to embark on new footballing adventures as their contracts expired. It’s a time of new beginnings for many, including former Manchester United youngster Jack Kingdon and striker Michael Reindorf among others. Best of luck to all as they explore new horizons! 🔄
Meanwhile, we’re locking down the future at Cardiff by signing some exciting young guns. Troy Perrett, Noah Williams, and others are putting pen to paper, securing their place with us as we prepare for a thrilling new Championship season! 🔵🐦
Stay tuned for more updates, and let’s get ready to support our Bluebirds through all the ups and downs of the season ahead! 📣✨
