🎾 Novak Djokovic Gives Wimbledon Ball Girl a Fright! 🎾
During an exciting match on Centre Court against Stefanos Tsitsipas, Novak Djokovic decided to have a bit of fun, sparking a surprising moment for a young Wimbledon ball girl. After securing the second set, Djokovic playfully pretended to be injured while the ball girl helped him cut the tape on his shoulder. With scissors in hand, she started snipping, only for Djokovic to act as though he’d been nicked!
The young girl was momentarily horrified, but soon realised it was all in good humour when the seven-time Wimbledon champ burst into laughter. Watching the amusing moment unfold, BBC presenter Clare Balding couldn’t help but chuckle, commenting on the cheeky prank.
Later, Djokovic apologised during his post-match interview, admitting, “I’m sorry if I scared her.” With his usual prowess, Djokovic dominated the match, cruising to a victory and securing his spot in the next round.
