🏉 Excitement Builds as Wales Prepares to Announce Team for Fiji Face-off! 🏉
Today is the day, folks! Wales head coach Steve Tandy is set to reveal the squad that’ll be going head-to-head with Fiji this Saturday in what promises to be a thrilling Nations Championship clash in Cardiff. 🏟️
But, it’s not all smooth sailing. Talk around town is the announcement’s been overshadowed by a bit of turbulence. Reports of a pay dispute with the Welsh Rugby Union have been swirling, leading to the cancellation of yesterday’s press conference. Yikes! 😬
Rumours suggested the possibility of player strike action was looming large in the background. But phew—we can all breathe a little easier knowing that was dodged! Thank goodness nothing’s going to get in the way of what promises to be a cracking game.
Steve Tandy and his coaching team have certainly had their hands full! They’re keen to keep up the momentum following last weekend’s victory over the Barbarians, as they head into a busy summer schedule packed with tough matches, including games against Argentina and South Africa.
The big team reveal is happening at 9am—so don’t miss it! Let’s get ready to cheer on our boys in red as they look to make us proud once again! 🌟
