Just had a sausage showdown and the results were eye-opening! 🍽️ We put three types of sausages to the ultimate taste test: pork, chicken, and veggie. Guess what? There was a surprising winner that completely stole the show!
Starting with the Richmond meat-free sausages, which used to be a vegan cult favourite, they sadly didn’t live up to their past glory. They appeared a bit off in shape and texture was disappointingly dry. It seems they’ve lost their winning formula, leaving us quite underwhelmed.
Next, the Tesco Finest Pork Sausages looked tempting with their perfect sizzle and rich, peppery flavour. However, they were overly greasy and not the healthiest option out there. Plus, being the priciest of the bunch didn’t help either.
Now, for the unexpected victor of our sausage comparison: Heck’s Chicken Chipolatas! Although they didn’t look all that appetising at first glance, they delivered big time on taste. These sausages were juicy, flavoursome, and had a clean, savoury profile that stood out. Not only were they delicious, but they were also lower in fat, making them a healthier choice for those watching their diet. They might not be the prettiest, but they’re definitely the tastiest!
