🌍⚽️ Exciting times for football fans! England is set to face Mexico in the World Cup’s last 16 tonight, and the match promises high drama not just on the pitch. But first, let’s talk about that kick-off time! 🕐
Initially causing quite the stir, the much-debated start time has been locked in for 1am BST, taking place at the iconic Mexico City Stadium. With the stadium sitting a whopping 2,240 metres above sea level, the high-altitude conditions will definitely test England’s squad. Let’s hope they’re ready for the challenge! 🌄
The match has already sparked a lot of chatter, thanks to the unpredictable weather. While there was talk of an earlier kick-off due to potential thunderstorms and lightning, it seems we’re sticking with the original plan. Fingers crossed, the weather behaves, but organisers are prepared, just in case. ⚡️🌧️
England’s manager, Thomas Tuchel, seems unfazed by the noise, encouraging the team to focus and keep calm amidst the chaos. The goal? Overcome the obstacles, whether it’s the altitude or the vibrant home crowd. With a shared spirit and determination, anything is possible! 🙌
Catch all the excitement live on BBC One, with coverage kicking off at 12:10am. Whether a late-night or an early morning for you, make sure to tune in. This match is bound to be one for the books! 📺🤞
