Meet Oliver Page, an 18-year-old from Swansea who’s making waves at the All England Club! 🌟 As Arthur Fery dazzles on Centre Court, Oliver is quietly turning heads in the 2026 Junior Championships, securing his spot in the quarter-finals with an impressive win against Kuan-Shou Chen. 🌱
This young talent had never played a junior Grand Slam match before this week, let alone believed he’d reach the quarters! “No chance,” he said when asked if he expected to be here. Yet, here he is, proving that dreams really do come true.
Oliver’s love for tennis started when he was just three, and now he’s heading for a new adventure at Wichita State University in Kansas this August. Inspired by fellow Brit, Arthur Fery, Oliver believes in the power of combining education with sport. “You can go and play college and then become a pro after,” he says, hopeful for what the future holds. 🌍🏆
He’s set to face the 11th seed Thijs Boogaard next. “I’ve definitely built up some confidence, but I know tomorrow is going to be really tough,” Oliver shared. “But who knows at this point? I’ll focus on myself and then see what happens.”
