🎶 Welsh music icon Bonnie Tyler has sadly passed away at 75. Known for her powerhouse voice and unforgettable hits like “Total Eclipse of the Heart” and “Holding Out for a Hero,” Bonnie captured hearts worldwide. Born Gaynor Hopkins in Skewen, Neath, her distinct husky tones made her a favourite since she burst onto the scene in the late ’70s.
Bonnie had been fighting illness and was in intensive care in Portugal before she unexpectedly left us. Despite cancelling shows earlier this year, she always believed the best was yet to come. Her enduring passion for music saw her performing worldwide and inspiring countless fans.
Tyler’s impressive career earned her numerous accolades, including multiple Grammy and Brit Award nominations. In 2022, she was honoured with an MBE for her services to music.
