With the scorching 30°C heatwave hitting Wales, beaches are buzzing with sun-seekers! But at Langland Bay in Gower, things are heating up for a different reason. To combat a spike in antisocial behaviour, South Wales Police are stepping in with extra powers to keep the peace.
Starting from 5pm this Friday until 5pm on Sunday, a Section 35 dispersal order will be active. This means officers can break up any unruly gatherings, ensuring everyone can enjoy the seaside safely and respectfully.
Whether you’re planning a beach day or just passing through, remember to slap on that sunscreen, stay hydrated, and keep our beaches beautiful! Let’s make it a fun weekend for everyone. 😎🏖️
