After hanging up his racquet post-2024 Olympics, Andy Murray is embracing life beyond tennis with gusto! The former world No.1 isn’t missing the professional circuit as much as you might think. In a heart-to-heart with Harper’s Bazaar, his wife Kim opened up about their evolving journey, admitting, “We weren’t the same people we were in our 20s.” With four children in tow, family life has kept the Murrays blissfully occupied.
Instead of settling into a new profession in broadcasting, Andy’s taken a swing at coaching. He even had a surprising short-term partnership with rival Novak Djokovic, but these days, you’ll find him mentoring Britain’s rising star, Jack Draper. While Wimbledon might call to his heart occasionally, he’s clear that he’s more about family outings there rather than solo appearances.
Not interested in traditional pundit roles, Andy’s shaking up commentary by teaming up with his brother Jamie on their YouTube show, The Set. They’ve got the freedom to film what they want, when they want, sharing insights from their unique perspective.
Off the court, Andy’s also working on his golf handicap and keeping active in the world of theatre. It’s safe to say, Sir Andy’s post-tennis life is anything but ordinary! 🏌️♂️🎭
