🚨 Major disruption on the M4! 🚨
A serious crash near Miskin on Monday afternoon brought traffic to a standstill as emergency services, including an air ambulance, rushed to the scene. The collision happened around 3:30 pm on the westbound carriageway, when a car reportedly hit the central reservation.
The driver was taken to hospital with serious injuries, and our thoughts are with them for a speedy recovery. The incident caused the motorway to shut down in both directions, with delays stretching over 40 minutes. Surrounding roads were also heavily congested as drivers tried to navigate around the chaos.
Thankfully, things returned to normal after the motorway reopened shortly after 6 pm. A huge shoutout to the emergency responders for their swift action. 🚑
