Tired of playing postman for your neighbours? Royal Mail has you covered! If you’re done with the daily shuffle of taking in parcels for next door, or worried your own deliveries end up with them, there’s a simple fix. You can now opt out of the neighbour post shuffle!
By applying online, you can request a sticker to display on your letterbox. This handy sticker tells Royal Mail staff not to leave your packages with a neighbour. It’s perfect for anyone who’d prefer their parcels stay put at the local delivery office for collection if they’re not home.
Want to stop the flow of door-to-door unaddressed mail too? Royal Mail offers an opt-out service for that as well! Just fill out the online form, send it in, and six weeks later, no more mysterious junk mail.
The best part? You can change your mind anytime. Simply remove the sticker if you want to resume neighbourly post exchanges, or reapply to keep those unaddressed flyers at bay for another two years.
