🚨 **Chilling Messages Lead to Prison Sentence** 🚨

Marius Alisaukas is now behind bars after a series of menacing messages to his ex-partner landed him a 29-month prison sentence. The chilling texts included threats revealing a “plan” for his former partner, violating a restraining order intended to protect her.

A judge at Swansea Crown Court described Alisaukas’ actions as “repetitive and deliberate,” highlighting the disturbing nature of his messages. The court heard that Marius and his ex had shared a tumultuous on-and-off relationship spanning a decade, even sharing two children together. After being convicted of harassment back in November 2023, Marius was slapped with a five-year restraining order.
But it seems old habits die hard. The breaches began on Boxing Day last year with a voicemail expressing a desire to see his kids, and escalated over time. By Valentine’s Day, he was posting derogatory comments on Snapchat, and by April, sending threatening messages to his ex’s new partner on Facebook.
Caught in this disturbing web, his ex-partner expressed her fear for both her own safety and that of her children. In court, Alisaukas’s defence attempted to paint his actions as a reaction to being denied contact with his children, but the judge held firm. A sombre lack of genuine remorse clinched the decision for an immediate imprisonment.
Following his guilty pleas, Alisaukas received a 29-month sentence but will serve 40% of it in prison before continuing under supervision in the community. Meanwhile, the restraining order remains strictly in place to guard the victim and her children.
This case is a stark reminder of the serious consequences of violating restraining orders and the courts’ commitment to protecting victims of harassment. Let’s hope this brings some peace to those affected. #JusticeServed #StaySafe
