Tragic Fire Leaves Family in Need in Bethel 💔
A devastating fire has left a young mum and her four children with nothing but the clothes on their backs in Bethel, near Caernarfon. A faulty electrical charger is thought to be the cause of the blaze that tore through their home on Tuesday.
Now, there’s a heartfelt call for help. Local hero Hannah Hughes has set up a GoFundMe, and over £7,800 has been raised towards a £10,000 target to help the family rebuild their lives. But there’s more to be done!
The entire community is rallying to collect essential items like clothing, toys, and furniture. Temporary housing is also urgently being sought. If you have anything to donate or know of housing opportunities, Caffi’r Bedol, Bethel, is coordinating efforts.
Hannah’s message on the fundraising page echoes the sentiment felt by many: “In moments, their world changed forever… They need our help to rebuild.”
Let’s show this family they’re not alone. Whether it’s a cash donation, some spare children’s clothes, or simply spreading the word, every little bit helps. Bethel has always looked after its own, and now’s the time to come together.
Please consider supporting in any way you can. Even a share can work wonders in getting this family back on their feet. Together, we can display the true spirit of compassion and community.
Stay safe, everyone! Remember, electrical fires can happen unexpectedly. Always unplug chargers when not in use, and ensure your smoke alarms are in working order. 💡
