Scarlett Lee, 32, is in hot water again after breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). Previously jailed for having a folder with 80 disturbing animated images, Lee, who was known as Scott Henwood before her transition, was caught breaking her court order by accessing apps under a different name.
Last year, she was sentenced to two years and four months for storing prohibited material on her device. But trouble continued when police recently checked her phone. They found she’d been using incognito mode and the Discord app, which went against her SHPO. As officers dug deeper, they also discovered her activity on Reddit under the alias Scarlett Winters, a nod to her partner’s surname.
In court, it was revealed that Lee has a history of flouting court orders, with previous convictions for similar offences. Her defence lawyer argued that, although her actions were wrong, they haven’t physically harmed anyone. Living on the autism spectrum and facing mental health challenges, Lee has reportedly struggled with her transition while being held in a male prison but is said to have adjusted better recently.
Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke was firm, saying Lee treats court orders as optional. With her latest transgressions, Lee received another sentence of two years and four months.
