🚒🔥 Massive Blaze at Llantrisant Recycling Centre! 🔥🚒
Early hours of Thursday morning saw a major fire break out at Llantrisant Recycling Centre involving a staggering 1,500 tonnes of waste! 🗑️ South Wales Fire and Rescue Service responded swiftly, deploying crews and specialist equipment to tackle the inferno.
Residents nearby, you’ve been advised to keep windows and doors shut due to smoke. Good news though, as progress is being made, but the operation is expected to last into the evening. 🔍👀 With eight pumping appliances and more in action, the efforts are relentless!
An impressive collaboration between the fire service, Natural Resources Wales, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, and local centre employees is underway—ensuring safety and minimising environmental impact. 🌍
