Wales faced a tough match against South Africa, ending their season with a 43-0 defeat in Durban. The Springboks proved too strong, and our boys struggled to find their footing. The forwards were overpowered, resulting in a toothless attack that couldn’t find its way to the scoreboard.

Full-back Blair Murray and wing Louis Rees-Zammit had challenging games, with little ball reaching out wide. Max Llewellyn and Ben Thomas tried to hold the centre but were overwhelmed by South Africa’s powerful play.

Ellis Mee managed some standout moments, including winning high balls and putting in a fantastic try-saving tackle. Dan Edwards, though decent with his kicks, had a hard time dominating the game without the support of a stable pack.

Tomos Williams and Aaron Wainwright worked tirelessly, the latter topping the carrying stats until his injury took him off the field. Jac Morgan also shone as the top tackler, even amidst tough odds.
The pack had a hard time against the dominant South Africans, with props Dillon Lewis and Rhys Carre battling it out in the scrums but coming up short. Dewi Lake held the lineout but had to exit early, while replacements like Ryan Elias added physicality.
Wales’ resolve was tested against a formidable opponent, highlighting areas that need sharpening before their next outing. Let’s rally behind them and hope for a strong comeback! 🏉🔴
