🎤 Gabby Logan’s comeback story! 💪
After a shock removal from ITV’s World Cup coverage 20 years ago, Gabby Logan is now set to host the World Cup final for the BBC this Sunday. Back in 2006, her career faced uncertainty when she was pulled from the tournament, leading her to join the BBC.
Fast forward to today, and Gabby is a household name, anchoring major sports events and recently taking over Match of the Day following Gary Lineker’s departure. It’s been a journey of highs and challenges, with Logan even tackling logistical issues like time zone hurdles during the North American tournament.
Despite not being the top earner, Gabby’s salary of nearly £295,000 reflects her pivotal role in sports broadcasting. She’ll be joined by pundits Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart, and Micah Richards as Argentina takes on Spain at New York New Jersey Stadium. Tune in at 8 PM UK time for an electrifying final! ⚽️📺
