Tragic news from Chepstow as a 30-year-old dad, Joshua Roberts, sadly passed away after a collision with a bus on the A48. On 7th July, while riding his e-bike on the wrong side of the road, Josh was involved in this heartbreaking accident. Despite the swift response from emergency services and being rushed to Southmead Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries four days later.
His family has expressed their heartbreak, describing Josh as a “lovable rogue” who lit up the lives of everyone around him with his cheeky smile. They thanked those at the scene for their selflessness and shared a touching tribute: “We are shattered but know you’re watching over us, Joshy.”
Gwent Police are currently investigating the incident, and anyone with information is urged to reach out. Our thoughts go out to Josh’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Fly high, Josh. 🌟
