🔥 “Chaos” erupted on the quiet streets of Nant-y-Moel as a fire tore through three neighbouring gardens, leaving destruction in its wake. Witnesses described a frenzy as locals rushed to assist each other amidst the rising smoke and flames.

The fire broke out shortly after midday, swiftly spreading from one garden to the next, completely charring the area. Thankfully, emergency services arrived on the scene quickly, and no injuries were reported. The blaze has been deemed accidental by South Wales Police, providing some relief amidst the devastation.

Neighbour Ian Williams shared the harrowing experience, recounting how his partner bravely rescued three small dogs from a nearby outhouse. “It’s chaos up here,” she told him, as she climbed over fences to save the frightened pets. One resident was left in tears as a precious keepsake from her late son, a motorbike, was destroyed in the flames. “You can replace property, but you can’t replace memories,” Ian said, heartbroken for his neighbours.
