🏉 Get ready for an epic rugby showdown! Former British & Irish Lions star, George Kruis, is stepping back onto the pitch for a jaw-dropping world record attempt. Alongside 47 other athletes, Kruis is set to play more than 24 hours of continuous sevens rugby this Friday at Sandbach RUFC in Cheshire, all to support LooseHeadz, a charity focused on mental health awareness in rugby.

This event features back-to-back women’s and men’s matches starting at noon on Friday and rolling through until just after midday on Saturday. The aim? To smash the current record of 24 hours and 30 minutes. With rolling substitutes and rugby sevens laws in play, it’s a marathon of athleticism and endurance!
Kruis, who boasts 45 England caps and has seen glory with Saracens, is joined by former England sevens captain Ollie Phillips, once crowned World Sevens Player of the Year. With a target of £100,000, LooseHeadz has already rallied around £52,000 and every bit helps!

Joining the ranks are rugby legends and current stars, making this an event not to miss! Why? Because it’s more than just a game—it’s about tackling the stigma around mental health. LooseHeadz provides crucial resources to support mental fitness in rugby clubs, from players to coaches and supporters alike.

Want to be part of the action? You can donate directly on their JustGiving page. Every little helps propel this cause forward. So mark your calendars, cheer them on, and let’s support this incredible cause together! 🙌
