🎯 Exciting times for Gerwyn Price, both on and off the dartboard! The Welsh darts sensation is over the moon to announce he’s becoming a grandfather for the first time! His daughter Emily shared the heartwarming news on Instagram, and Gerwyn couldn’t be happier, joking about his initial reaction with a typical carefree humour.
🎉 With two daughters already, family is growing bigger and better for Price, who has promised to whip Emily’s partner into shape if needed—but all in good spirits! He assures everyone, “They’re both young and don’t quite know what’s coming, but they’ll be fine.”
🏆 Back to business, Price is smashing it at the World Matchplay, targeting a fantastic £225,000 prize. Having recently brushed off Rob Cross in an impressive 11-5 victory, he’s gearing up to face Ross Smith this Friday.
⚔️ This encounter promises to be the ‘battle of roars’ with both players known for their passionate displays. Price is confident, stating, “If I can push my average into the hundreds, I should be all right.”
💪 With the £1m prize pool at stake, it’s all to play for! Can Price continue his winning streak and add another trophy to his growing collection? We certainly think so!
