The brainchild of local internet sensation Dean Phillips and his best mate Paul Carroll, this venture brings a slice of Thailand to Wales. Dean, who shares his adventures between Swansea and Thailand on his social media channel ‘Deano’s World’, has amassed a following of over 220,000 fans. After falling head over heels for Thailand and its culture, he decided it was time to bring those flavours home.

👫 Dean and Paul have been mates since their footballing days as kids, and their shared love for fitness and authentic Thai cuisine inspired them to create a healthier takeaway option right here. They’re starting small but dream big with hopes to eventually open a chain of full-scale restaurants.

With dishes crafted by a carefully chosen chef, the duo promises authentic Thai food that’s lighter but just as satisfying. The attention to detail has paid off, with customers praising the spot-on flavours and quality.

Besides unforgettable taste, the real magic of Mai Thai is in its warm and welcoming vibes. Dean says, “We’ve always believed in going above and beyond for our guests. It’s more than just food; it’s an experience.”

So, if you’re in the mood for some Thai vibes, drop by Mai Thai! It’s open Monday to Thursday from 11am-3pm and 6pm-9:30pm, with extended hours till 10:30pm on weekends. 🌶️✨
