🌞 Ready for an Unforgettable Summer? 🌿
As the summer holidays roll on, many parents find themselves stumped for ideas by Day 10! A whopping 63% of parents say keeping their kiddos entertained is a real struggle. Between work commitments, diverse interests among siblings, and a lack of fresh ideas, it’s easy to see why!
But fear not! Getting kids to embrace the great outdoors is simpler (and more fun) than you might think. Despite 89% of parents agreeing that outdoor play is crucial for children’s wellbeing, many find their little ones spending minimal time outside.
Enter GoGo squeeZ and JB Gill! This dynamic duo is on a mission to get kids to “Level Up in the Wild” by transforming outdoor adventures into real-world quests, inspired by their fun Roblox game, GoGo Climb. 💚🌳
JB Gill says, “Kids love quests and adventures in games, so why not bring that thrill outside?”
Research shows that framing outdoor activities as missions or adventures significantly boosts motivation! Think “mission,” “reward,” or “adventure” – these words spark excitement!
Some top tips for gamifying the outdoors include:
1. **Supply Run**: Transform grocery shopping into a timed quest. Can your kids beat the clock?
2. **Family XP Quest**: Turn walks into scavenger hunts with points for spotting wildlife and collecting treasures.
3. **Tiered Level Challenge**: Begin with easy outdoor tasks and progress to harder ones as they “level up.”
4. **Beat Your High Score**: Make activities competitive by tracking times and improvements.
5. **Escape the Lava Zone**: Add drama to daily walks by imagining the floor is lava!
Getting friends involved or linking activities to their hobbies makes outdoor play even more inviting!
JB Gill and GoGo squeeZ invite families to Bluewater’s Hangloose Adventure for real-life challenges, treetop courses, and lots more.
Remember, the best adventures start with an open imagination. Let’s make this summer one for the memory books! 🌟
