Kyren Wilson took his young sons to a nail-biting matchup against snooker titan Ronnie O’Sullivan at the Shanghai Masters. From the get-go, Wilson knew it wasn’t just about battling O’Sullivan’s legendary skills but also about facing a roaring crowd rooting for “The Rocket” in China.
Before the game, Wilson had a chat with his boys, aged 8 and 11, prepping them for the electrifying atmosphere. It’s not every day your dad goes cue-to-cue with a seven-time world champion! 🎉
Despite the cheers for O’Sullivan, Wilson pulled off a fantastic 6-4 victory, showing his kids what he’s made of! With dazzling breaks of 113, 92, and more, he booked his place in the quarter-finals against snooker legend Mark Williams. 🎯
Kyren expressed his excitement about playing in Shanghai and how the vibrant vibe pushed him to play better. “I wanted my kids to witness the magic of snooker here,” he said. And what an experience it was for them!
Next up, Wilson faces Williams. And in true playful spirit, he joked, “Hope he’s had a shave for the game!” It’s all fun and games, but don’t forget – it’s snooker, and only one can emerge triumphant.
🔹 Follow the action and keep your eyes on Wilson – he’s aiming to defend his title and continue this thrilling journey with his sons cheering him on every step of the way! 🎱🏆
