Jeremy Clarkson Issues Warning to Kleptomaniac Fans Raiding His Pub for Signature Souvenirs

Jeremy Clarkson, well-known for his colourful personality, has got a bone to pick with the light-fingered patrons of his beloved pub, The Farmer’s Dog. The TV icon recently shared his frustrations about quirky thefts happening at his establishment. Yep, believe it or not, customers have been making off with everything from cooking oil to urinal traps—who knew those would be on someone’s lifting list?

But it’s the branded Hawkstone pint glasses that are really flying off the shelves, quite literally. Clarkson has reported that roughly 400 glasses are swiped each week only to pop up for sale online at marked-up prices! Not exactly what he had in mind for a souvenir.

Fans were quick to rally around on social media, sharing their disbelief and offering some cheeky solutions. One follower suggested taking inspiration from German Christmas markets by adding a deposit to the glasses: “You want a souvenir? Fine, you’ve paid for it.” While another lamented the behaviour, saying: “The stealing is really sad. He is working his guts out.”

Another fan had an even simpler idea, proposing Clarkson switch to plain glasses altogether to avoid being targeted by collectors and hustlers alike.

Despite these light-fingered antics, Clarkson’s pub and farm shop remain bustling hotspots, thanks to the roaring success of his Amazon Prime series, Clarkson’s Farm. Visitors keep flocking to the Cotswolds to snag a piece of the Clarkson experience—just maybe not so literally next time!
