🎉 Historic Day for Ammanford Town AFC! 🚀
Football fever is taking over Ammanford as the local heroes are set to step onto the Cymru Premier stage for the first time ever this Friday! After a nail-biting finale last season, where a last-minute goal clinched their promotion, Ammanford Town is ready to make a splash in tier one football. 🏆⚽
Excitement is at an all-time high as the club gears up to compete against top teams like Colwyn Bay and Caernarfon Town. The grounds have had a revamp with new floodlights and expanded stands. Plus, a fresh fan zone is being created to boost the match-day experience. 🎉
For fans, it’s more than just a game. Ian Parfitt, a lifelong supporter, captures the buzz: “When that winning goal went in, it was pandemonium. Now, seeing them go up a league is incredible.”
Club chairman, Rob Thomas, has been prepping for this moment for months. It’s not just about the game; it’s about community, passion, and playing for the badge. Ammanford’s core values shine through with local players and volunteers dominating their ranks. “Our biggest asset is our togetherness,” says manager Wyn Thomas.
The season is about embracing the challenge and enjoying the journey. Long-time player Euros Griffiths captures the spirit, “We don’t do things easy at Ammanford! Playing against teams we never thought we’d face is exciting.”
Catch the home season opener on 7th August against Colwyn Bay. Let’s rally behind Ammanford Town and make this a season to remember! 🎊
