A twisted tale of betrayal and brutality has emerged in Plymouth, where a mother was jailed for her role in a horrifying acid attack. Paris Wilson, 35, hatched a chilling plan with a local gang, leading to the gruesome murder of her ex-husband, Danny Cahalane. It all started with a sinister message, “I hope you and your butters girl both end up with acid in your faces,” sent by Wilson to her ex prior to the attack.

The court heard how Wilson, driven by anger and a debt Danny owed, plotted with notorious drug kingpin Ryan Kennedy, known as Frost. Danny, a 38-year-old who worked under Frost, found himself in dire financial straits, owing a staggering £120,000. The debt spiralled into threats, culminating in the brutal attack on May 3rd last year.

After a lengthy 15-week trial, Wilson received a nine-year sentence for manslaughter and attempted kidnapping. Meanwhile, accomplices Abdul-Rasheed Adedoja and Israel Augustus were handed life sentences, while Ramarnee Bakas-Sithole got ten years for manslaughter.

Wilson’s lack of remorse was put on display during police interviews, where she laughed off her threatening text, admitting she had given away Danny’s location. “Sounds declasse now, doesn’t it?” she remarked, reflecting on her words as the nightmare unfolded.
This shocking case also led to the imprisonment of four more members of the network involved in enforced drug debts and attempted kidnappings. Isanah Sungum, Jean Mukuna, Arrone Mukuna, and Jude Hill received sentences ranging from 16 to 52 months.
This tale of deceit and violence serves as a grim reminder of the devastating consequences of crime and betrayal. Let’s keep the conversation going about justice for victims and the relentless pursuit to keep our communities safe. #CrimeNews #JusticePrevails
