🐾 PD Asko, the canine hero, sniffs out justice! 🐾

When Albert Hysaj decided to hide behind a fake wall in a cannabis factory, he didn’t count on PD Asko’s incredible sense of smell. 🚔 After reports of suspicious activity at Bowen Industrial Estate in Aberbargoed, officers arrived on the scene to discover 313 cannabis plants cleverly stashed across a couple of industrial units. Talk about a green thumb! 🌿
PD Asko, the superstar police dog, followed his nose and led officers straight to Hysaj’s hiding spot, proving you can run, but you can’t hide from this doggo detective! 🕵️♂️🐕

Upon further investigation, officers linked the cannabis operation to a 40-year-old from Abertillery, who was later arrested at home with cocaine and evidence of drug supply on his mobile. 📱
Both chaps faced the music at Cardiff Crown Court: Hysaj got six months for cannabis production, while his partner-in-crime received a suspended sentence.
Inspector Laura Paget praised PD Asko’s efforts, highlighting the importance of dismantling such operations, which are often connected to organised crime. She had a message for everyone: if you see something shady in your area, don’t hesitate to speak up! 🚨
