**Hailey Bieber Opens Up About Postpartum Struggles and Media Scrutiny Amid Marriage Speculation**
Model and entrepreneur Hailey Bieber has candidly shared her experiences of adjusting to life after childbirth, revealing the challenges she has faced, both physically and mentally. The 27-year-old spoke out as persistent rumours continue to swirl online concerning the state of her marriage to pop superstar Justin Bieber.
The Biebers, who reside in Los Angeles, are no strangers to public attention, frequently finding themselves at the centre of internet chatter and tabloid headlines. Hailey addressed this ongoing speculation in a recent interview with Vogue, describing the relentless scrutiny as “a crazy life to live.” She also gave an emotional account of her postpartum journey, following the birth of her son, Jack Blues Bieber, in August of the previous year.
Reflecting on the past months, Hailey expressed that navigating postpartum life has proven to be one of her greatest personal obstacles. “Being postpartum is the most sensitive time I’ve ever experienced, and learning who I am again is incredibly difficult,” she told Vogue. The new mother went on to detail the added burden of living in the public eye: “Trying to process all of this while facing daily online speculation about my relationship—such as ‘they’re getting divorced’—is truly overwhelming. The mental toll is hard to describe.”
In a bid to find peace, Hailey declared that she is actively working to shield herself from negativity. “I’ve learnt that we don’t have to let those things into our space,” she explained, signalling a commitment to protect her family and well-being amid public pressure.
Hailey Bieber, the daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin and niece to Alec, William, and Daniel Baldwin, married Canadian singer Justin Bieber in a private ceremony in New York in 2018. While their high-profile union was initially kept under wraps, their relationship has since faced continuous analysis, with internet speculation often fuelling unfounded rumours.
Addressing her public persona, Hailey admitted feeling frustrated at times by how she is perceived: “I feel like I’ve worked hard to be understood for who I truly am, yet some people refuse to see that side. Trying to correct false stories often leads to more disbelief, leaving me in a difficult position.”
According to Hailey, her husband’s experience with fame from a young age has been invaluable to her in coping with the spotlight. “Justin’s dealt with intense scrutiny most of his life—he reminds me that sometimes you simply can’t change public perception, and there’s no ‘winning’ against the narrative at large.”
Discussing her pregnancy, Hailey confessed to initial struggles coming to terms with the life change. She described the news as surprising, prompting a wave of emotion. “You hear your life will never be the same—it changes for the better, but you’re never just yourself again. It was a lot to process, both mentally and emotionally,” she shared.
Throughout her pregnancy, Hailey prepared meticulously for motherhood, engaging in activities like yoga, acupuncture, and strength training to bolster her health. However, delivery proved unexpectedly challenging, with her needing to be induced after 39 weeks due to leaking amniotic fluid. She recalled her 18-hour labour as “the hardest thing” she has ever experienced, stating that the experience fundamentally changed her.
In the aftermath, Hailey said she found herself longing for her old self before realising the importance of accepting change. “You’re not the same person after giving birth, and I had to accept I wouldn’t go back to who I was. Now, it’s about deciding how to move forward, and I’ve grown to prefer the person I am today.”
As Hailey continues her work with her skincare brand Rhode and embraces family life, her story highlights the complex balance between personal transformation and life lived in the digital spotlight—a challenge many public figures can relate to in the age of social media speculation.
