**Murder Inquiry Launched After Young Language Student Killed in Cambridge**
A murder investigation is under way following the fatal stabbing of a 20-year-old language student in Cambridge late on Friday night, police have confirmed. The tragic incident has sent shockwaves through the local community and raised concerns about student safety in the city.

Emergency services responded immediately but the student tragically passed away,” a spokesperson said. The school has emphasised that the wellbeing of students and staff is their top priority, with additional counselling made available for those affected. They further stated they are fully cooperating with the police investigation, while asking for privacy as the investigation is ongoing.
