🚗 Richard Hammond is hopeful for a Top Gear comeback! 🚙

The beloved BBC motoring show took a break following Freddie Flintoff’s scary crash during filming in 2022. But Hammond, one-third of the iconic trio alongside Jeremy Clarkson and James May, believes the show will rev its engines once again! 🏎️💨

The 55-year-old—who himself survived a high-speed accident while filming in 2006—reminds fans that Top Gear has been shelved in the past, only to return stronger. “It’s been off-air before,” he pointed out, recalling the show’s history of exciting comebacks. 🤞
Even though Hammond waved goodbye to Top Gear in 2015 after Clarkson’s unexpected exit, he continued his motoring adventures with The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime. Now, he’s reflecting on his adrenaline-fuelled days filled with unforgettable moments and a touch of anxiety, confessing: “How the hell did we get away with it for so long?” ⚡
Hammond’s incredible journey spans over two decades, from a car-loving lad from Birmingham to co-hosting one of the world’s most-watched shows. Though his Grand Tour era recently concluded, the reality of this chapter closing is still setting in. “I never thought I’d be part of something that big,” he admitted.
