☀️ Scorching temps are hanging around a bit longer, but cooler weather is on the horizon! This week kicks off hot and humid for many, particularly down south, with temperatures climbing to a sizzling 34°C in some areas – the fourth heatwave of the summer!

🌡️ Expect the heat to peak on Tuesday and Wednesday, hitting the mid-30s. Meanwhile, coastal spots will catch some cooler breezes. The UK Health Security Agency has issued Heat Health Alerts, so keep hydrated and look after those vulnerable.

⛈️ But hang tight, as the Met Office warns of possible storm alerts later in the week. Thunderstorms could crash into northern areas by Wednesday evening, bringing some hefty downpours with them. The location of these storms is still up in the air, so stay tuned for updates!
🌦️ Thursday remains warm with plenty of sunshine, though a few drizzly showers might stick around in the north. Temperatures are set to reach around 29-30°C, mainly in the far east.
☁️ By Friday, expect a classic north/south split: cloudier with some rain up north, but sunny and fine down south, with highs around 30°C. Entering the weekend, the outlook is mainly settled and sunny, although showers and thunderstorms could make surprise visits, especially in the southwest.
Don’t forget, the cooler, comparably ‘normal’ weather is creeping closer, so enjoy the sun while it lasts! ☀️ Grab your shades, keep your umbrella at the ready, and stay weather-wise. 🌂🌞
