🎱 Graeme Dott, former world snooker champion, is set to face trial next year over serious allegations of child sex abuse. Dott, now 48, is accused of offences involving children of primary school age. The charges date back to two periods: between 1993 and 1996 with a girl, and from 2006 to 2010 with a boy, all happening in the Glasgow region.

At a recent virtual hearing at the High Court in Glasgow, Dott was not present but strongly denied the allegations. His defence team claims the accusations are completely fabricated. 🏛️

The trial is set for 17th August next year, and Dott remains on bail until then. Known for his snooker achievements, Dott clinched the World Championship title in 2006 and was runner-up in both 2004 and 2010. 🎱
