🚨 Justice for Assault Victim 🚨

In a shocking courtroom revelation, 26-year-old William Mayberry was convicted of a vicious assault against his ex-partner right in front of their one-year-old child. The attack included a headbutt and smashing her phone. Mayberry further escalated the situation by threatening the victim and her parents.

Despite denying the offences, Mayberry was found guilty of multiple charges, including five counts of assault by beating, threats of property damage, using threatening behaviour, and criminal damage. At the time of this domestic assault, he was already out on licence from a previous conviction. He had been recalled back to prison and is now sentenced to 52 weeks behind bars. He will serve part of this sentence in custody, and the remainder under community supervision upon release.
Mayberry must pay £1,440 in compensation to his victim and is subject to a restraining order for three years, preventing contact with her and her family. South Wales Police sergeant Rachael Draisey expressed hope that the jail sentence and restraining order offer some relief to the victim and her family.
