College IT Staff Member Refutes Allegations of Sexual Misconduct Involving Minor

A university IT worker, Kerry Price, is facing trial after denying a series of serious allegations involving a young girl. Price, 52, has pleaded not guilty to 15 charges, including sexual assault and making indecent images. He claims that the alleged incidents did not occur, arguing that the indecent photos found on his phone were automatically transferred from an old computer when he connected his phone to charge it.

The prosecution accuses Price of sexually abusing a girl from the age of five or six and continuing until she was a teenager. It’s also alleged he took secret photos of her without consent, including inappropriate shots. In court, Price admitted to kissing the girl when she was older but insisted it was with her consent.

Price, who works as a technician at Swansea University, explained that the images found on his Samsung Galaxy phone were the result of an “oversight” when he was attempting to identify owners of old computers from his previous repair business.

Questions regarding dubious search terms found on his device were raised, but Price maintained he was only searching for legal adult content. The prosecution contends that Price had a sexual interest in children, which he strongly denied.

Previously, Price has no criminal record, except for a caution from 2006 related to an assault. As the trial continues at Swansea Crown Court, Price maintains his innocence, hoping to clear his name of these grave accusations. Stay tuned for updates as this case unfolds.
