🚦 Exciting changes on the horizon for Tyndall Street in Cardiff! 🚗💨
Cardiff Council has unveiled plans to revamp one of the city’s busiest junctions near the city centre. Tyndall Street, by the Central Link roundabout, could soon see a boost in traffic flow with the addition of a new dedicated lane. The idea? To ease congestion and improve access to nearby areas like Schooner Way.
But that’s not all—pedestrians will see some changes too. While the crossing island is set to be removed, the pedestrian crossing itself will stay put. Plus, the pop-up cycleway will continue to offer a route for cyclists.
The proposal is part of a broader vision to integrate Tyndall Street into Cardiff’s expanding cycle network, known as Cycleway Three. It’s all part of a city-wide effort towards better active travel and transport solutions.
