The Met Office has confirmed our fourth heatwave of the summer is in full swing, and it won’t let up until Monday evening. But it’s not just Cardiff feeling the heat—Monmouth, Cardigan, Chepstow, and Newport are all set to experience similar blistering temperatures.
This sweltering trend carries on through Sunday, with temperatures soaring up to 29°C inland, while the charming coastal areas will enjoy highs of 27°C. But fear not, by Monday evening, you can expect a cooler breeze to blow through, bringing an end to these hotter-than-average temps.
And just when you thought a little rain dance might be in order, the Met Office hints that showers or even thunderstorms could make an appearance by early next week. With a mix of warm and breezy days ahead, we’ll see the good old British weather keeping us on our toes once more!
