🔥 **Massive Wildfire in Llangors Sparks Major Response!** 🔥
Fire crews rushed to a village in Wales after a sweeping wildfire engulfed nearly 50 hectares of gorse and bracken. The inferno broke out at 11:37 am on Wednesday, August 13, and fire stations from Talgarth, Brecon, Llanidloes, and more banded together to battle the blaze.
This was no easy task! With challenging terrain, crews utilised drones and an all-terrain vehicle to keep a close eye on and tackle the flames. Equipped with wildfire blowers, knapsacks, and beaters, they worked tirelessly to get the fire under control.
In a statement, the fire and rescue services highlighted just how tough the situation was, noting the unique difficulties faced by the crews due to the landscape. After an entire day of hard work, the last of the firefighters departed the scene at 11:47 am on Thursday, August 14, marking the end of a grueling operation.
