🚨 Strictly Come Dancing Drama Alert! 🚨

The BBC has officially called in the police to dig into some troubling new allegations surrounding everyone’s favourite dance show, Strictly Come Dancing. Word has it that there’s been buzz about two stars allegedly using cocaine, as reported by The Sun On Sunday.

While the Beeb is keeping tight-lipped about the police involvement, the speculation follows The Sun’s earlier revelations this month that these claims were hot gossip on set. The situation’s serious enough that top law firm Pinsent Masons is diving into an investigation. 😬
This isn’t the first time the show’s been in hot water. Last year, Strictly faced a review when bullying and harassment claims were levelled against former pro dancer Giovanni Pernice by his ex-dance partner Amanda Abbington. Some complaints were upheld and in response, the BBC rolled out new measures like having a chaperone present during rehearsals. 👀
In another debacle, EastEnders star James Borthwick faced suspension from the show after he was caught using a disabled slur on set. As for the current cocaine claims, these reportedly emerged in a legal document by the firm Russells earlier this year, submitted on behalf of a former contestant.
The BBC says they’ve got firm protocols for such situations but aren’t spilling any more tea. They encourage anyone with concerns to reach out, but that’s all they’re sharing for now.
This year’s Strictly is certainly packing in drama both on and off the dance floor! How do you think it’s all going to play out? Let us know! 💬✨
