Are you more of a homebody than a jetsetter? A new study of 2,000 holidaymakers reveals that Brits start longing for home comforts just five days into their holidays! 🌴🏠

While trips are often seen as the ultimate escape, many travellers find themselves missing simple pleasures like their own cosy bed, the tranquillity of personal space, or a beloved pet. In fact, nearly half of all holiday-goers reported yearning for their familiar surroundings while away.

To cope, some savvy sun-seekers pack their bags with essentials from home. A cheeky 31% can’t leave without their tea bags, 27% insist on their own towels, and a few even stash their pillows into their suitcases for that piece of home comfort!
Interestingly, more than half confess that one of the best parts about going on holiday is the sheer joy of coming home. And if you’re the kind who has ever dreamt of teleporting your home to your beach-side hotel, you’re not alone—four in ten share that sentiment!
So, next time you’re packing for your getaway, don’t forget a touch of home. After all, there’s no place like it. 🏡✈️
