Her brother, James Miller, a devoted Warrington Wolves fan and loved local character, went missing after a night out on December 22, 2020, and hasn’t been seen since.
James, a dedicated car mechanic, never failed to show up for work even after heavy nights out, which is why his absence on December 23 rang alarm bells for Emma. “I’ve got this horrible feeling,” she recalled telling her sister, leading her to contact the police when his workplace confirmed James hadn’t shown up.
Despite numerous media appeals and a thorough police investigation, James remains missing, leaving his family stuck in a painful limbo. Emma says, “It’s the unknown that’s the hardest part. You’re living in hope, not knowing if they’re out there living life or if they’re hidden away.”
Emma holds onto the hope that James is safe somewhere, revealing, “I believe he’s out there because I’d have something by now. We hope he’s okay and living his best life.”
