🎉 Exciting times in Swansea as GCSE results are in! 🎉

Students from Cefn Hengoed Community School are buzzing with emotions today after receiving their GCSE results. Among the stars, Ben Copp absolutely smashed it with two A-stars, three As, and a B. Hats off to him! Ben’s been balancing his studies with rugby and gym sessions, and it’s all paid off. He’s all set for Gower College to dive into history, law, and politics.

Meanwhile, Lexi Hanford is over the moon with her A* in Welsh Baccalaureate and a mix of As, Bs, and Cs. She’s heading to Neath College for law, politics, and sociology. Seems like leaving school was a bit emotional for her, but she’s excited about what’s next.
Charli Turner, who’s always been a horse enthusiast, is thrilled with her results, snagging two As and three Bs! She’s off to start an equine apprenticeship in Llanelli and might even explore law through an Open University course after.
Tom Norris, boasting a solid set of results, is preparing for A-levels in ancient history, textiles, and travel and tourism. He’s grateful for the support from his teachers at school and can’t wait to start the new chapter at Neath College.
Head teacher Carl Bale is beaming with pride over these fantastic achievements, commending the hard-working staff and students. They’re sure to miss the class of 2025, but they’re thrilled about the bright futures ahead.
A big shoutout to all the students and a huge thank you to the teachers and families who have supported them this far. As Education Cabinet Secretary Lynne Neagle puts it, the options are endless, whether you choose further education, vocational training, or something else. 🌟
Congratulations to all! 🎓👏
